Archie E. Jones

Archie E. Jones, 75, of Laclede passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at his home. Archie was born in Lake Park, Iowa on Nov. 3, 1938. He graduated from high school in Vista, California in 1956. On September 13, 1958 he married Jean Britton in Brainerd, MN. He worked construction in Brainerd, MN. He moved to Idaho in 1983 and was a construction superintendent on many projects in the Sandpoint and Washington area prior to his retirement in 2000. He was a lifetime member of the NRA enjoying guns, knives, hunting, fishing, and camping in the great outdoors. The winters were enjoyed in Lake Havasu, AZ. He is survived by his wife, of 55 years, Jean Jones in Laclede, Idaho; two children Barbara (and Ricky) Bellman in Priest River, Idaho; Bradley (and Julie) Jones in Spokane, Washington; 6 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
