David Robert Contreras

David Robert Contreras, 54, passed away in Hayden, Idaho on Friday, July 18, 2014. He was born in LA Mesa, California on June 13, 1960, the son of David and MaryLou Contreras. He grew up, and attended schools in El Cajon, California and served with the US Navy from 1980 until 1985. Following his military service he worked as an electronics technician in San Diego, California. He retired, for health reasons, in 2011 and moved to Sandpoint, Idaho. He enjoyed electronics and working on his computer. He is survived by his mother Mary Lou Griffin, in Sandpoint, ID; His daughter Teresa (Kris) Wehage and his granddaughter Willow Wehage both in Davis, California; his siblings Kai (Allan) Neill in Kootenai, ID; James (Mary) Griffin in Sandpoint, ID; Rebecca Neal in San Diego, CA; Rachael (Dave) Huston in El Cajon, CA. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
