Kathleen Joan Sullivan Farmin, 83, passed away July 18, 2014 in Sandpoint, Idaho. She was born in Butte, Montana on December 1, 1930.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Roy Sullivan and Margaret O’Meara Sullivan, her sister Sheila Sullivan and her daughter, Patricia Ann Farmin.
She is survived by her children: Sheila Farmin-Aumick (Rodney) of Sandpoint, Idaho; James Farmin (Silvina) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; William Farmin of Bonney Lake, Washington; Nancy Farmin Renzacci (Andres) of Sand Marcos Sierras, Cordoba, Argentina; her grandchildren: Jonathan (Ashley) Aumick of Clark Fork, Idaho, Casey (Andrea) Aumick of Sagle, Idaho; Alex Farmin of Bonney Lake, Washington, Gabrielle Farmin, Katherine Farmin, Elena Farmin, Stephen Einhaus and Lindsey Chapman. In addition are great grandchildren: Aloysius Simmons, Silas Simmons, Angel Farmin, Avery Aumick, and Maggie Jo Aumick.
She was proud of her Irish heritage and devout in her faith. She valued humor and loyalty above all else. She spent her last years in Sandpoint at the Alpine Vista where she had close friendships and many acquaintances. The family is grateful for the excellent and loving care she received from the staff and caregivers.
A memorial service will be held next spring in Butte, Montana. Memorial donations may be made to the Bonner County Homeless Task Force, P.O. Box 1696, Sandpoint, Idaho
