Robert Alan Ramsay, 64, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho on Saturday, August 9, 2014.
Robert was born in Sandpoint, Idaho on January 9, 1950 the son of James Warren and Helen E. Ramsay.
He attended local schools, graduating from Sandpoint High School in 1968. Following high school he went to Denver, Colorado taking mechanical training at a trade school. He worked in marinas in Spokane and Bellevue, WA; and Parson’s Marina in Priest River. He also worked for Mountain Gem Log Homes, Sitcom, Lignetics, and Murphy’s Saw Shop.
Robert enjoyed helping others, hunting and fishing in the area and his grandchildren. He had built, and raced, his own stock car, winning many trophies. He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing on the weekends and hunting and fishing locally.
He is survived by two sons, his grandchildren, his sister and two brothers He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Max.
A potluck memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13th, in the Laclede Community Hall, from 11:30am until 2:00pm.
