Donna Marie Mitchell

Donna Marie Mitchell, 84, of Sandpoint passed away Wednesday September 24, 2014 at Bonner General Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM, Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Coffelt Funeral Service with David Wilson, officiating. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Friends may call at the mortuary on Saturday from noon until time of service. Donna was born April 29, 1930 in Buffalo, NY the daughter of Merritt and Anne Richards. She grew up in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and graduated high school in 1949. She work for a time in LaCrosse and on Dec. 10, 1953 married Harry “Larry” Mitchell in LaCrosse. They had lived in Guam, San Diego, San Francisco, and moved to Sagle on April 1, 1972 where she has since resided. She worked as a sales clerk at Fashions Express, K-Mart, Everybody’s in the mall and Wal Mart retiring in 1996. Donna was a former member of the Martha Chapter of OES #34 and was an avid reader. She is survived by her sister Renee Wilson of Rogers, AR; 1 niece: Keli (Mike) Peacock of Corinth, TX; 2 nephews: David (Sharon) Wilson of Rogers, AR, Jef (Nancy) Leisgang of Madison, WI; and her dear friends: Clarence & Lois Davis, Jim Davis, Melissa Tucker, and Larry Davis all of Sagle. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister, Delores.
