Francis Milton Balison

Francis “Moe” Milton Balison passed away Nov. 6, 2008 after a short battle with cancer. At his request there will be no public service, he has been laid to rest in the Pack River Cemetery. Moe was born October 11, 1932 in Kootenai, Idaho. He lived all of his life in Bonner County and built roads on most of the mountains in the county. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Lola, 3 daughters Cheryl Rink, Linda Redmon, and Colleen Lewis; 7 grandchildren Matt (Marcy) Bloom, Amanda (Kraig) Brown, Colt (Renee’) Rink, Cord Rink, Shaina, Farryn, and Hyatt Balch. 3 great grandchildren Landon Balch, Henley Bloom, and Kash Farrens; a foster son Justin Happell, a son in law Sterling Rink; 2 brothers Brownie (Rosie) Balison, and Pete Balison. He was preceded in death by his parents Elwood and Nellie Balison and 3 brothers Stanley, Dan, and Dale Balison. Memorial donations may be made to either Bonner Community Hospice or the Gideon’s. If you wish to celebrate his life, please write your memories down and mail them to the family.
