Kasen Slade Mitchell

September 11, 2014 — December 18, 2014

Kasen Slade Mitchell was born on Thursday, September 11th, 2014 to parents Mark Mitchell and Megan Heitstuman at Bonner General Hospital in Sandpoint, Idaho. He weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. The family was blessed with Kasen for 3 months and 1 week before he unexpectedly passed away from unknown causes on Thursday, December 18, 2014. In the short time that Kasen had to experience this world he proved to be eager to grow and learn. By the time he was 2 months old he was holding himself up with his arms and able to roll from front to back. He was also very insistent that he be the center of attention and held the majority of the time. Some of his favorite things were cuddling with his lamb and being talked, sang or read to. Kasen is deeply loved by his mommy and daddy, big brother Wyatt, big sister Kiylee, his grandparents Mark and Tamie Mitchell, Tony Heitstuman and Jodi Cleveland, his great-grandparents Roy and Bonnie Mitchell, Connie Thompson and Nicky Cleveland, his aunts and uncles, his cousins and many others. Kasen will always remain his parents’ precious baby and Wyatt and Kiylee’s little brother. Services will Saturday, January 10, 2014 at 11;00 am at Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel, 109 N Division Avenue, Sandpoint, ID. Pastor Barry Johnson, New Song Bible Church, will be officiating. A potluck Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the services at New Song Bible Church, 470250 US Hwy 95, Sagle, ID. Memorial donations may be made to the “Kasen Mitchell Memorial Fund” at any Wells Fargo location.
