William "Bill" Hutzler

William 'Bill" Hutzler, 71, passed away in Billings, MT on Friday, Nov. 14, 2008. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 20th, in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel. Pastor Jon Pomeroy, Sandpoint Church of God, will officiate. Bill was born in Missoula, MT the son of William and Gladys Hutzler. He moved to Sandpoint in 1951 and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1955. He served with the US Army and married Sylvia Zordell on Aug. 25, 1962 in Sandpoint, ID. He worked locally, doing maintenance work, on a rock crusher. He later worked, installing telephones, for General Telephone. He retired in 1977 due to the deregulation of the phone company. He continued to live in Kootenai until moving to Belgrade, MT in 2007. Bill enjoyed working on his “farm”, hunting, and fishing. He is survived by his sons Scott (and Tammy) Hutzler of Belgrade, MT and Todd (and Joni) Hutzler of Spokane, WA; 3 grandchildren Sylvia, Spencer, and Hayley. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Sylvia.
