Rebecca “Becky” Marie Jensen, 54 of Heron, left her home January 12, 2015 for a job she loved when she was taken to heaven in an unfortunate car accident. Becky was born June 21, 1960 to Larry and Sharon Larkin in Spokane, WA where she lived for the first few months of her life. She then moved to Noxon with her family.
Funeral services will be conducted, Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 1:00PM Montana Time at the Noxon High School Gymnasium. Interment will follow in the Heron Cemetery.
Becky spent all of her school years in Noxon where she graduated in 1978. Becky often told the story of her first day of 1st grade visitation. She was supposed to choose a 1st grade student to pull her desk up to, someone that could help her through the week. Her brother urged her to sit by him, but she was drawn to Clint and immediately pulled her desk to his. She always said her love for him was love at first sight. From that moment on, she knew he was the man she would marry and spend her life with.
In 1981, Becky and Clint were married and moved to Heron where she would raise a family and live a life in which she would touch all of those around her. In 1984, Clint and Becky welcomed their first daughter, Ashley Marie. A mere year and a half later in 1985, they were blessed with their second daughter, Angela Michelle. Although Clint was hesitant, Becky knew her family had not all arrived; in 1989 they celebrated the birth of their first son, Beau Michael. In 1990, the family was complete with the birth of their second son, Cordell Anthony. Although they were married for 33 wonderful years, they were together for 41 years of her life. They were a shining testament of true love; an inspiration to each of their children and all of those who had the privilege of coming into contact with them.
Becky prayed for grandchildren and spoke often to all of her children of this desire. On August 20, 2012, Abel Bradley Jensen was born. Her love for Abel could not be measured. In November 2014, Becky was over joyed to learn that she had another grandbaby on the way. All that she believed can be reflected by the line from one of her favorite songs “I am blessed and I know that I am, because Jesus has control of my life.”
Becky is survived by her husband Clint and her four children; Ashley (Zachariah) Choat, Angela (Christopher) Brown, Beau (Joliene) Jensen, Cordell Jensen and two grandchildren. Becky also leaves behind her mother, Sharon Larkin, and five siblings; Teresa (Bill) Nelson, Debbie Weber, Colin (Mary) Larkin, Shawn Larkin, Jacqueline (Jeff) Kirkland and numerous nieces and nephews.
