Joetta Marguerite "Maggie" Batt

On February 11, 2015 at the age of 83, Joetta Marguerite Batt, followed the love of her life, Seth Grant Batt, into the Light of Heaven just 20 days after Seth. They were married 55 years. Maggie, as she was fondly called, was born Sept. 21, 1931 to Louise and “Frenchie” Winans in Emmett, Idaho. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 am, Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2293 W. Hanley Ave, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Maggie was a devoted wife and mother, always tending to Seth and her children, Steven Batt, Catharine Zabel, Timothy Batt, Leon Batt, Rachel Townsend, and Mary Batt. She followed Seth wherever his work took him, Nevada, Idaho, Washington, even Alaska! She enjoyed crocheting and made many blankets and scarfs for friends and family. She loved to ‘out fish’ Seth every chance she could! Maggie is survived by six children, her brother Dennis Winans, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
