Garland Samuel Redd, 97, passed away at a hospice house in Post Falls, Idaho on Friday, March 6, 2015.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11am, Saturday, March 14, 2015; in the Cocolalla Cowboy Church. Pastor Steve Bradshaw will be officiating.
Garland was born in Huntington, Texas on July 9, 1917. He attended school in Homer, Texas prior to enlisting in the US Army. He served during WW II in Italy and North Africa. He received the Purple Heart, bronze stars and other accommodations.
He had worked as a carpenter for many years, moving to Sagle, Idaho recently.
