Dianna Lee May

Dianna L. May, 77, passed away peacefully at her home in Sagle, Idaho on Friday, March 6, 2015. Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 28, 2015 in the Seneacquoteen Cemetery. You are invited to attend the graveside service and then to a pot luck at Dianna’s house; 435 Mays Road in Sagle, ID. Dianna was born in Santa Monica, California on December 18, 1938 to Ruth and John DeMattos. Dianna graduated from Oroville Union High School on June 7, 1957. She married Carl May in Reno, Nevada on July 27, 1958. Dianna worked side by side in the family trail construction business for 25 years. Dianna’s passion for growing flowers led her to become an accredited American Dahlia Society Judge, judging and competing in flower shows and fairs throughout Idaho, Washington and Montana. Dianna was a member of Montana Dahlia Society, American Dahlia Society, Garden Club of North Idaho, Bayview Garden Club, just to name a few. Dianna’s dahlias will be forever remembered by family and friends. Dianna is survived by her three children, Ruth (Jeff) Eich, Harvey May, Matt (Dawna) May, all of Sagle and four grandchildren, Adam (Carli) Eich of Coeur d ‘Alene, Idaho, Spencer Eich, Sagle, Idaho, Samantha May, Anchorage, AK, Daniel May, Boise, Idaho.
