Marilyn Martha Truppe, 83, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015 at her home in Sandpoint, Idaho. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Monday, March 30, 2015 in Pinecrest Memorial Park with Dale McCall officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel. Marilyn was born on January 14, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of George and Mary Fenger. She would attend local schools in the Chicago graduating in 1950. After high school she would go to work as a telephone operator in Chicago. On May 8, 1954 she married the love of her life William Truppe in Chicago. Together they would have five children in Chicago. They moved to Sandpoint, Idaho on December 1, 1972. William and Marilyn would have one more child. Marilyn was a hard working woman raising their six children. She was part of the welcome wagon that would welcome people to the area when they moved here. She enjoyed bowling and her grandchildren were the joy of her life. Marilyn is survived by her children Gene (Virginia) Truppe of Spokane, WA, Rudy Truppe of Davenport, WA, Jackie (Dean) Kincaid of Sandpoint, ID, Robert Truppe of Moyie Springs, ID, Cindy Truppe of Newport, WA, and Kim (Terry) Owens of Sandpoint, ID; her sister Marie (Gary) Richter of Illinois; her brother George (Mary) Fenger of Illinois; her wonderful grandson Nolan Owens; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband William, her parents, two sisters Magie and Pat and a brother Bill.
