David Michael Logan, 56, passed away in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on Friday, March 27, 2015.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00pm, Saturday, April 4th in the Cedar Hills Church, in Kootenai. Pastor Colin Moody will be officiating.
David was born in Long Beach, California on June 21, 1958, the son of Ross and Ida Logan. He attended schools in Long Beach, California prior to joining the US Army and serving in Germany during the Vietnam era. For many years he worked for McDonald Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach, California. He also worked for Penske Truck Leasing and served with the US Air Force Reserves.
On October 26, 1993 he married Kristine Kafel in Las Vegas, Nevada, moving to Sandpoint, Idaho in 2002. He worked, as a civil service engineer technician, for the Bureau of Land Management.
He was a member of the Cedar Hills Church in Kootenai, loving his God and his family. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
David is survived by his wife Kris Logan in Sandpoint; his children Chloe Logan and Joab Logan both in Sandpoint; his mother Ida Logan; his siblings Sharon Turner, Raymond Logan, and Mary Overstreet all in Long Beach, California; and his nephew Joseph Turner in Lakewood, California.
He was preceded in death by his father Ross Franklin Logan.
