Charles “Chuck” John Reeves, 57, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015 at his home in Sagle, Idaho.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, June 26, 2015 in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel. Ann Ross will be officiating.
Chuck was born on June 3, 1958 in Mt. Holly, New Jersey the son of Robert and Marion Reeves. He would attend local schools, graduating from Burlington Northern High School in 1976. After high school he went to work in auto body shops as a painter. He was a volunteer fireman for the Franklin Fire Company for many years in Columbus, New Jersey.
On November 3, 1979 he married his best friend Maureen and they would have two children in New Jersey. In May of 1989, they relocated their family to Sandpoint to raise their children. Chuck and Maureen would have another daughter while in Sandpoint. Chuck worked at Quality Collision Repair and Alpine Motors repairing and painting vehicles.
Chuck was an avid snowmobiler, always riding in the mountains on the weekends. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren, playing and taking naps.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 35 years Maureen, his parents Robert and Marion of New Jersey; his children Courtney (Davy) Randolph of Sandpoint, ID, CJ (Tamzen) Reeves of Moscow, ID and Caitlyn Reeves of Sandpoint, ID; his sister Donna (Mike) Harrington of Columbus, NJ; a brother Bobby (Jackie) Reeves of Columbus, NJ; and his grandchildren Marek and Kellan Reeves. Chuck is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son Jason Michael Reeves.
