Marilyn Buck, 90, of Sandpoint, Idaho, passed away in the Life Care Center on July 5, 2015.
Memorial funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm, Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel.
Marilyn was born in Bancroft, Nebraska on August 30, 1924. Marilyn and her husband Gerald moved to Sandpoint, Idaho in 1955, where they lived and raised their family. She worked at the Lakeside Motel until her retirement.
Marilyn had a great love for her family, which showed in the way she overcame adversities in raising her children, and then went on to play a big role in her grandchildren's lives. She liked to read and watch TV, and she was good at needlework and bingo!
Marilyn was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church, and continued to participate in services and communion when she moved to the Life Care Center. On July 5, heaven welcomed her home.
Marilyn is survived by daughter Geraldine Wagoner and husband Les, daughter Patricia Garlock, son Brandon Buck and wife Laurie, daughter Nancy Neely and husband, Ken, and son-in-law Paul Vogel, 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter. Marilyn was proceeded in death by two children, Miriam Burnett, and Sharon Vogel, and two grandchildren.
