Bessie H. “Jerri” Graves, 79, our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus, on July 16, 2015.
Jerri was born March 17, 1936 in Turkey, Texas. She grew up in Portales, New Mexico the oldest of five children, two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her husband Richard, two brothers William Hodges and Harold Hodges; a sister Lena Goff; son Tommy Farmer; daughter Carolyn Stratton; two step-daughters Linda Luke and Laurie Wittman, a step son Wayne Graves; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Jerri spent 43 years in Ozark, Alabama before marrying Richard and moving to Clark Fork, Idaho. She loved cooking, fishing, attending church, little children especially her grands and great grands. Jerri also loved football, the Alabama Crimson Tide and Seattle Seahawks. Jerri never missed televised Gonzaga Bulldog basketball games. She was an avid reader, a very giving person and a devout Christian.
A celebration of Jerri’s life will be held at Cabinet Mountain Calvary Chapel, 136 Calvary Way, Clark Fork, Idaho at 3:00 pm, Saturday, August 8, 2015.
