Blaine B Wilckens, 88, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at his home in Clark Fork, Idaho.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Blaine was born on August 14, 1926 in Warrensburg, Missouri the son of Arthur and Nellie Wilckens. Blaine’s father was a farmer and the family moved around at a young age. He attended local schools in Knoxen, Missouri. After school he started working for his father as a farmer. He would move to Montana in 1942 working on the railroad and at a ranch and then went into the military. He would later move to Libby, Montana in 1956 purchasing a ranch and working the land.
Blaine married Helga Kleinke on December 16, 1972 in Kalispell, Montana. They would work the farm in Libby, Montana and raised their children. In 1973, Blaine and Helga moved the family back to Missouri so it would be easier to raise their children and be closer to family and bought a ranch. They would stay there for a couple years before returning to Roundup, Montana and purchasing another ranch. In 1995, Blaine retired from ranching and he and Helga moved to Clark Fork, Idaho.
Blaine love working the land, horses, fishing, hunting and playing music on his guitar.
Blaine is survived by his wife Helga of 42 years; his daughter Theresa (Lance) White of Riverton, WY; his step son John Michael Walker of Sacramento, CA; and his grandchildren Tyler Walker, Kenneth Walker, Tristan White and Evan White; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Lonny and his sister Lee Etta.
