Robin S. Clayburn, 51, passed away in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11am, on Saturday, September 19, 2015, in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel. Pastor Jon Pomeroy, Sandpoint Church of God, will be officiating.
Robin was born on September 2, 1964 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where he lived and attended school until he was 14 years old. In 1978 he moved to the Sandpoint area and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1984. On April 5, 1985 he married Rusty Bartlett in Sandpoint.
He worked for Peak Paving for many years and then for Merritt Brothers Lumber Company in Priest River and Riley Creek Lumber in Laclede. He was a fork lift operator, retiring in 2002 due to health issues. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping in the area. He loved to go dancing, and the light of his life was his grandkids.
He is survived by his father Arlo (Pat) Clayburn in Sandpoint; his mother Nadine Mcjunkin in Sagle; five children Kenneth (Shaely) Clayburn in Samuels; Christina (Gerrit) Krielaart in Sagle; Robin Clayburn in Mississippi; Lacey Clayburn in Sagle; Kelly (Steven) Clayburn in Kootenai. Also surviving are 2 brothers Christopher Clayburn in Missoula, MT; Casey Clayburn in Texas; 2 sisters Melissa Veach in Sagle; and Arlene Harper in Coeur d’Alene; and 2 good friends Rusty McKritrick in Sagle and Sabrina McAfee in Bonners Ferry.
