Elaine Eloise May

Elaine Pomeroy May passed from this life on November 11, 2015 at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She was born on January 26, 1948 in Kalispell, Montana. She graduated from Lincoln County High School in Eureka, Montana in 1966. She also attended Alberta Bible Institute in Camrose, Alberta, Canada. She was married to Robert (Bob) W. May on January 20, 1990 in Kalispell Montana, who was at her side when she passed. She lived a life of passion, involved in numerous activities in the church, Avon, Sweet Adelines, Red Hat Ladies, and Women of the Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Nina Pomeroy, Brother Ed Pomeroy, and daughter Lisa Wright. She is survived by her husband Bob; daughter Nikki (Wright) Sumner (son in-law Matt Sumner); Stepchildren Brad Wright, Joanne Smyth, and Rod Wright, Gina Mathis and Rebecca Ballotta; Brothers Charles and Jon Pomeroy; Grandchildren Caleb and Alisa Sumner; and numerous step grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, January 23rd 2016 at the Coeur d’Alene Church of the Nazarene.
