Dan Dean Wilson

Dan D Wilson, 88, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Private family services will be held at a later date. Dan was born on October 10, 1927 in Gillette, Wyoming the son of Wiley and Viola (Dalbey) Wilson. They family would move to southern Idaho when he was one year old. Later they would move to Bonner Lake outside of Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He worked hard all his life mostly in the lumber industry. He and his wife Joan enjoyed hunting, fishing and going 4-wheeling. He loved everything about the outdoors. Dan was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Dan is survived by his wife Joan (DeMers) Wilson, daughter Danette Schlapfer, Teresa Walden and his son Edward Bonin; Sisters Darlene Billingsly, Nina Long; and his brother Harley. Dan is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Terri Barker, his twin brother Don; sisters June and Dortha and his brother Melburn.
