Esther C. Hunt

Esther C. Hunt, 83, passed away in Sandpoint, ID on Friday, March 27, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Thursday April 2nd, in the Sandpoint Seventh Day Adventist Church. Pastor Matt lombard will be officiating. Interment will be in the Pack River Cemetery. Esther was born in Mobridge, South Dakota on December 20, 1925. She graduated from high school in Clear Lake,Wisconsin. She continued her education, graduating with the 1st class of X-Ray Technicians from the Portland Adventist Hospital in 1949. She moved to Walla Walla, WA and worked in her field. In 1953 she moved to Pendleton, OR and worked in a Doctor's office for many years. She married Verland Hunt on Oct. 5, 1980. For 10 years she lived in Anchorage and Ketchikan, Alaska, moving to Sandpoint in 1992. She enjoyed music and singing, her flowers, her garden and was a member of the Sandpoint Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by her husband Verland of Sandpoint, ID, 3 sisters Ruby in Seattle, WA; Eleanor and Irene both in Portland, OR; her brother LeRoy in Portland, OR; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Esther was preceded in death by her parents.
