Lucille Fern Bottcher, 88, passed away in Sandpoint on Tuesday, April 14, 2009.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 18th, in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel. Pastor Chad Wilks, Church of the Nazarene, will be officiating. Inurnment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Lucille was born in Philipsburg, Montana on November 29, 1920, the daughter of George and Lillian Ham. She moved to Sandpoint in 1925, attending local schools, and graduating from Sandpoint High School
in 1939. On September 29, 1939 she married Bob Bottcher in Sandpoint.
She had worked at her father’s Saveon Grocery Store, located at 3rd and Cedar in Sandpoint. In 1957 she went to work in the business office of General Telephone, retiring 1n 1976.
Lucille was a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene in Sandpoint. She loved picking huckleberries, bird watching, and her rose garden.
She is survived by her son Doug (and Linda) Bottcher of Sandpoint, ID; her grand son Travis (and Jamie) Bottcher and her great grand sons Noah and Isaiah all in St Regis, MT; her brother Ed Ham and her sister Naomi Hagadone both in Sandpoint, ID. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Ron, and a sister Emma.
