Mary Louise Zindler, 92, passed away in Sandpoint on Saturday evening, January 23, 2016.
Mary Louise Zindler was born April 28, 1923 in Dayton, Ohio. She was employed at Edwards Air Force Base in 1941. Some of her experiences centered around space testing and flight test engineering and she was a neighbor of Chuck Yeager, the pilot. She loved being an amateur chef and was an avid reader.
Her first husband Joe Lamoureaux, died in 1953. She later married Harvey Zindler and they retired in Sandpoint. After his death, she came, saw and loved The Bridge at Sandpoint and had been a resident since 1999. She felt it was a great place to feel loved and cared for. Mary would want to thank the wonderful staff, nurses and personnel at The Bridge for their many years of caring service.
Mary was generous to many organizations in her community. She had no children of her own, but considered Donna and Richard Hutter family. She requested there be no services.
