Anna K. Spencer left us on Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, she was 93 years old.
Private family services will be held.
Anna was born in Pe Ell, WA on April 13, 1922 to Andrew and Magdalene King. She was the last of 12 children. She grew up and attended school in Pe Ell. On June 22, 1940 Anna married Harold R. Pardee of Kelso, WA and they had two children; Roderick and Carol. Anna later married her soulmate John A. Spencer of Chehalis, WA on July 18, 1944. John was a career military man and they traveled extensively in the US and abroad until John retired and they settled in Reno, NV. After John’s death in 1978 she remained in Reno until 2009 when she moved to Hope, ID to be near her daughter. She resided at Alpine Senior Apartments then in her last days at Huckleberry Assisted Living in Sandpoint. Idaho. Anna was loved and very well cared for at both places.
She belonged to the Royal Neighbors, Golden Star wives and the Eagles Lodge.
She is survived by her son: Roderick Pardee and his wife Judy; daughter: Carol Miller and her husband Rodney of Kalispell, MT; three grandchildren: Tony Minic of Coeur d’ Alene, ID, Lisa Surliff of Sagle, ID, Bobby Pardee in Oregon; four great grandchildren: Jacob, Samantha, Madyson, Tazeray and one great great grandson Tristen.
Family suggests memorials be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Anna’s name.
