Linda Joane Job, 65, passed away in Portland, Oregon on Thursday, March 30, 2009.
Linda was born on March 9, 1944 in Newport, Oregon the daughter of Ross and Patricia Bowles. She lived in Eugene, Oregon where she graduated from high school and then attended the University of Oregon for 1 year. She married Jim Wright, in Eugene, on April 19, 1964 and they were divorced in 1985.
She earned her Associate of Nursing degree from Clackamas Community College in 1982. In 1986 she earned her Bachelor of Science nursing degree from Walla Walla School of Nursing and worked as a nurse in home-health and hospice.
Linda married Ross J. Job on Sept 2, 1989 in Vancouver, WA. Ross died from injuries received in an automobile accident, in Sandpoint, Idaho on Nov. 27, 1992.
She was a member of the Beaverton Women’s Club, Phi Beta Sigma, and the Elk’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing, crewel, painting with water colors, writing, the internet, camping, and fishing.
She is survived by her son David Wright (Maureen), daughter Julie Wright, her grandchildren Jessica, Katelyn, Sarah, Mickell, and Calvin and by her siblings, Caroline Geiger, Patricia Johnson, and David Bowles and by her many friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for May 8th at 11 a.m. at the Beaverton Seventh Day Adventist Church, Beaverton, Oregon. Interment will be May 22nd in Pinecrest Memorial Park, Sandpoint, Idaho.
