Daymond Charles Forell

Daymond Charles Forell, 78 years of age, passed away on October 6, 2016 in Hayden, Idaho surrounded by family members. Daymond was born on November 16, 1937 in Sandpoint and was raised and lived in Sandpoint for most of his life. He graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1955. He married Vonnie Price in October 1962 and they had two daughters Pam on August 9, 1963 and then Kemmie Jo on April 26, 1966. Daymond and Vonnie later divorced. Daymond had two more marriages, first to Sandra Howell and then Dottie Hazelton; both of those ending in divorce as well. He married his beloved Anna on July 2, 1982 which lasted until her death in July 2005. Daymond served six years in the Army Reserve and worked for McFarland Pole Company, Pack River Lumber Company and also P&E Woodworking along with various other occupations over his lifetime. He enjoyed the outdoors and he loved all of his large family with their large potlucks, camping, hunting trips and road trips in his motor home with Anna. He spent his later years enjoying the sunshine on the deck of his apartment, driving the electric chair all over town and growing fabulous tomato and cucumber plants. He was loved by the neighbor children, who kept him company, and in later years helped to watch over him. Daymond is preceded in death by his infant sister, Cherie; parents, Harold and Lois Forell; Sister Della Bricker; wife Anna Forell and brother Delmer (Bubby) Forell. Daymond is survived by daughter, Pamela (Tom) Turpin of Bonners Ferry; daughter, Kimberly Forell of Coeur d’ Alen; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; step son Mike (yumiko) Vernon of Plano, TX; two step grandchildren; sister Velma Nelson of Priest River; sister-in-law, Betty Forell of Sandpoint; sister, Betty Jeffres of Sandpoint; sister , Carol (Gary) Millard of Sandpoint; brother Larry (Anna) Forell of Post Falls; brother Jim (Jola) Forell of Sandpoint and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give their thanks to Robin Changala for the loving care she has provided Daymond for so many years. A celebration of Daymond’s Life Potluck will be held at the home of Jim and Jola Forell, 11616 Baldy Mtn Rd. in Sandpoint. That will be Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 1:00 pm.
