The family asks that you have a party, go to an AA Meeting, go on a ride or just hug someone. “Hugs to all the girls”
Wally was born in Long Beach, California February 10, 1944 the son of Weston and Virginia (Hawking) Hudson. He was the oldest of the three children Walter, Barbara and Ginger.
Wally was a very spirited person who loved to live life fully. He spent 4 years in the US Navy from 1961 until 1965. Following his Navy service he spent many years riding the West Coast, on his Harley, with the Gypsy Joker motorcycle club, and was a retired member. He loved to ride until settling down in Oregon where he met the love of his life and had his “pride and joy” his only child in 1978. He later moved to Seattle, WA and then to Spokane, WA. He would find his forever home at “Wally’s World” in Sandpoint, Idaho moving there in 1994. Wally celebrated his 22nd year of sobriety this year thanks to his AA Family. “Pot lucks are good.”
Wally is survived by his daughter Wauk-a-nita Carrillo in Auburn, WA; his step children Sonny Culpepper and Kelly Mitchell; two grandsons Nathan and Aidan who believed he “hung the moon.” Also surviving are his sister Ginger Rogers of Kalispell, MT; his nephews and nieces Dennis Rogers, Vicky Walker, and Windy Torrence; his greatest love Cheryl Jones and two god children Danny and Devan Warr; as well as the many people who loved him and called him family.
