Ruth Maxine Bradetich, 79, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Ruth was born March 14, 1937 in Buhl, Idaho. Ruth was the youngest of three daughters born to Walter and Ruby Roberts. She attended school in both Buhl, Idaho and Westmond, Idaho and earned her diploma from Buhl High School. Ruth met her husband Joe, while in the Sandpoint area attending school. Following Joe's military tour in France, they were married July 17, 1955 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Ruth and Joe started their family with their oldest son Bruce, followed by daughter Pam and youngest son Alan. Ruth and Joe had a fulfilling and happy 61 years together.
They both worked hard providing for their family until they retired in 1995. Ruth started her career as a certified nurses aid and over the years worked at Bonner General Health in central supply and medical records. She completed her career at the Libby Hospital.
Ruth and Joe enjoyed a very happy retirement life of 21 years filled with RV travel and camping with family, brothers and sisters, and friends and while also living on their property in Algoma, Idaho.
Ruth played an important role in Alan and his son's, Ty and Taylor, lives, especially when they were living on the Algoma property. Ruth was very proud of Pam's high school, college, and career accomplishments and Alan's career at Super 1 Foods.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her son Bruce, and sister Veda Bradetich.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband Joe, daughter Pam, son Alan and his wife Nannette, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sister Faye Lamoreaux, cousin Mary Stevens, brother-in laws, sister in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ruth's death was sudden and unexpected. She was laid to rest at a graveside service on November 25, 2016 at the Pinecrest Cemetery next to her son Bruce.
