Homer James Shinn III

Homer James “Jim” Shinn III, 52 of Sandpoint passed away at his home on Sunday, August 2, 2009 after many years in failing health. Jim was born in Spokane on February 6, 1957 in Spokane the son of Homer James and Ellen Marie Shinn. Homer will be missed by his family and friends, and remembered for his loving heart. He is survived by his son: Homer James “Jay” Shinn IV, 2 daughters: Roxanne (Karl) Ruby, Rachael Marie Shinn; 2 granddaughters, Sierra, MaKayla; his mother: Ellen M. Berscheid (Arnold) Davidson; sisters: Linda (Donald) Davis, Dot Lieberman, Teresa (Andy) Collins; brothers: Matthew (Tammy) Shinn, Mark (Christi) Shinn, Aaron (Amber) Shinn; his life partner: Sarah Jarecki and many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. We lovingly include his caregiver of 8 years, Denny Guthrie. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00AM, Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Coffelt Funeral Service, with Pastor Jon Pomeroy, officiating.
