Lois Hall, 91, passed away in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.
Private family interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park with a memorial service to be announced in April 2017.
Lois was born in Conrad, Montana on June 15, 1925, the daughter of Presley and Violet Vaught. In 1935 the family moved to Trout Creek, Montana and Lois attended Thompson Falls Schools, graduating from Noxon High School in 1944. On January 6, 1945 she married Bill Hall in Bottineau North Dakota. The family established, and operated, the Cedar Grove Grade A Dairy, on highway 200, East of Sandpoint until 1984.
Lois was a longtime member of the Sandpoint United Methodist Church, V.F.W. Auxiliary, Oden Busy Bees and Chatter Bees and the Thimble Club. She had served as a senior companion for 10 years and worked at the Bonner General Hospital Cafeteria for 12 years. She enjoyed quilting, creating afghans and crocheting.
She is survived by her son Warren Hall, daughter in law Connie Hall, grandson Kelly Hall, 4 great grandchildren Hannah, Kenly, Zane, and Zoey. Also surviving are her three sisters Leona Irish, Alice Wilson, and Jeannette Wigal along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Hall, her son Ken Hall, and a grandson Tony Hall and her 3 brothers Harold, Wilbur and Wayne.
