Harlan Lee Hylton

Harlan Lee Hylton, 78, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2009 at Bonner General Hospital after a battle with cancer. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM, Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Coffelt Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Steve Bradshaw of the Cocolalla Cowboy Church officiating. Interment will follow in the McArthur Cemetery. Harlan Lee Hylton, a native of North Idaho, was born May 5, 1931 to Golden Lee and Lulu Irene (Marcy) Hylton of Naples, Idaho. Harlan enlisted in the United States Army on July 7, 1952 serving in the Korean War with an honorable discharge on April 8, 1954. Harlan is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. August 7, 1955 Harlan and Ethel Reyburn were married in Bonners Ferry. They had three children and lived in Naples, Idaho on a small cattle ranch. They later divorced. Harlan and Lucille Crone were married August 27, 1994 and they moved to the Selle area of Sandpoint, Idaho. Harlan spent many of his years driving his logging truck for Anderson Logging and also for McCalmant Logging retiring in 1992. Harlan will be remembered for his love of God, his family, horses and all animals and pets. Harlan is survived by his wife Lucille; children: Wanda Hylton of Post Falls, Brett Crone of Yerington, NV; Bart Crone of Dillon, Montana; Anena Kipp, Tonopah, Nevada; and 10 grandchildren seven great grandchildren and many children who consider him grandpa. He is also survived by two sisters Marjorie McCalmant, Bonners Ferry and Sally Weaver, Moscow, Idaho; a brother Jerry Hylton, Troy, Idaho, numerous cousins. Harlan was preceded in death by his parents, a son Darrell and daughter Anna Marie Meyer.
