Shirley Marie Green

Shirley Marie Green, 75, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017. Calling hours, for family and friends will be from 3pm until 6pm on Thursday, January 19th in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel. Family memorial services will be held later in the spring. Shirley was born in Snoqualmie, Washington on April 9, 1941 where she grew up and attended school. She also attended the Auburn Academy in Auburn, Washington. She married Lloyd Green in Auburn, Washington on October 8, 1971 and then moved to Rexburg, Idaho. In 2003 the family moved to the Sandpoint area. Shirley was a member of the D.A.V. Auxiliary in Coeur d’Alene and the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed writing to her pen pals and the friendships that developed. She is survived by her husband, of 45 years, Lloyd Green, Sandpoint, Idaho; 5 children Danny Moore, Ronda Abson. Krish Fort, Jimmy Moore, Ryan Green and 11 grandchildren. She is also survived by her two brothers Roger and Sherman Bookter. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Margaret Bookter and her son Lowell Green.
