Alleen Frances McIntire

Alleen F. McIntire, 97, peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2009. She went to be with her Lord and Savior. Private family services will be held and inurnment will be in Fortuna, CA. Alleen, and her twin sister Erleen, were born on June 10, 1912 in East Prairie, MO, the daughters of Milford and Lillie George. She married Harry McIntire in 1928, in Colorado. In 1937 she graduated from Life Bible College, in Los Angeles, CA. Alleen and Harry, both pastors, had ministries in many churches in Colorado and California. She loved music, fine stitchery and teaching children in Sunday school. She is survived by her children Peggy Tuttle in Romoland, CA; Joyce (and Jasper) Hosfelt in Ukiah, CA; Mary Abbott in Cocolalla, ID; Bob (and Sandy) McIntire in Cocolalla, ID; a Sister in law Evalyn McIntire in Sandpoint, ID; 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harry of 71 years, her son Tommy, grandson Ron, 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
