Diana Lynn Moore was born on September 17, 1946 and passed away in her home on March 24, 2017 after a short battle with cancer.
Born in Yakima, Washington then moving to Sandpoint in the 60’s. She graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1964. Diana worked at the Panida Theater and from there started her career in law enforcement, working at the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office retiring after 42 years.
Diana is survived by her sister Tana (Wayne) Woollenweber; a niece Tina Morton; two nephews Derek (Justina) Mercer and Jason (Christina) Morton.
She is preceded in death by her mother Virginia Walson, step-father Darrell Walson and her father James Scott.
The family would like to thank Bonner General Home Health Care and hospice. Also, thank you to Dale Coffelt for his care in the final arrangements.
I love you sister and will miss you always. Give mom hugs for me. I love you both.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Eagles Lodge.
Family suggests that donations may be made to the Panhandle Animal Shelter and the Cancer Society.
