William George Blacketer

William George Blacketer, beloved husband, father and best friend, passed away at home September 23, 2017 in Heron, Montana. William was born January 2, 1934 in Sturgis, South Dakota. He lived a full life, having served in the navy 4 years followed by 4 years in the Air Force. He held many jobs all ending with retirement from Alaska's department of corrections. William was proceeded in death by Julius G Blacketer, Crystal Marie Taylor Blacketer and his brother Norman Blacketer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carlene ; his children : Norman Blacketer, Darrell Franke, William Svec, Lori Hanley, George Blacketer , Eric Blacketer and many grandchildren and great grandchildren He will missed by all who loved him.
