Norma P. Grimes, 83, after a long, brave, battle with cancer went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, Oct. 31st, in the New Song Bible Church. Pastor Barry Johnson will conduct the services.
Norma was born in San Bernardino, California on Dec, 18, 1925. She attended schools in California and graduated from Fremont High School in Oakland, California in 1941. In California she worked for Sears and for Sunset Designs, designing stitchery kits. She lived in Walnut Creek, California and married Clifford J. Grimes on Dec. 5, 1970 in Danville, California.
In 1977 she moved to Sagle, Idaho and worked in the Senior Companion Program from 1986 until 2001. Norma was a member of the New Song Bible Church. She loved her family, her cats, and her dogs.
She is survived by her husband Cliff Grimes of Sagle; 2 children Jacquelyn (and Ronald) Davis of Sagle; Michael (and Ellen) Tweed of Pasadena, CA; 2 grand daughters Sheri (and Brant) Roberts, Sara Tweed, and a great grand daughter Lily Anne Roberts all in California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and a grand son John Paul Mann.
