Ronald Phillip Hannan, 71, passed away in Elmira on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009.
Family services will be held at a later date.
Ronald was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on May 1, 1938. He lived in Council Bluffs, Iowa and Mount Vernon, Washington.
He worked in the Seattle area, as a contractor, out of union shops.
He worked mainly in the refineries in Anacortes, WA.
He retired in 1993 and moved to Elmira, Idaho in 2004. Ron was
a lifetime member of the NRA and loved hunting, fishing, and feeding the wildlife in North Idaho.
He is survived by 4 children Tammie Almaraz in Sedro Wooley, WA; Kimberly Hernandez in Mexico; Lore Estrada in Blaine, WA; Randy Hannan in Sedro Wooley, WA; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; his companion Betty Potts in Elmira, ID; a brother Dan Hannan in Council Bluffs, Iowa; 2 sisters Carol Anderson in Sedro Wooley, WA; Sue Hannan in Council Bluffs, WA; and his 2 dogs Molly and Maggie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Bill and Ted.
