LeAnn Marie Becker

LeAnn Marie Becker, 53, passed away at her home, near Cocolalla, on Monday, April 19, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Memorial services will be conducted 1:00PM, Friday, April 23, 2010 at 1st Christian Church, with Allen Osborne, officiating. LeAnn was born the third child of Harry and Frankie Roberson on May 9, 1956. She was raised and attended grade school in Kootenai. She spent all 12 years of school with several classmates who have remained her best friends throughout her life. LeAnn was a people person and knew no stranger. She was always ready to add you to her list of friends, but she also knew she had a special friend in Jesus Christ. LeAnn began her work resume working at the A & W for the Marks family. Her love for nursing began when she was working in a nursing home while she was in high school, which eventually led her to take nurses training at Bonner General Hospital. Every job she had was a joyful experience for her and everyone she worked with. She saw to that. LeAnn was never limited to just a few interests. Every one of her endeavors were dealt with on a high level of ethics and concluded with unbelievable results. She and her friends, Theresa and Monica, produced some beautiful decorative tile murals together. She always excelled in crafting, painting, cooking (big BQ gatherings), designing, canning, gardening, nursing, hunting, fishing, camping, running, and the list goes on and on. You could always count on a job well done and a very happy time would be had by all. LeAnn was probably best known for her sense of humor and her unique way of relating any little or big event. If you heard it eleven times, dramatics and all, it was still worth your time to hear it again. LeAnn’s beautiful son Travis Knaggs was born to her marriage with Jack Knaggs. LeAnn married the love of her life, Randy Becker, on Sept. 9, 1999 and with this marriage she received two additional children to love and cherish: Todd Becker and his son Gage, Eric & Sue Becker and their children, Bo and Jorden. LeAnn is survived by her husband of 11 years, Randy Becker; sons: Travis, Eric, Todd; her mom: Frankie Roberson; four siblings and their families of whom she was so proud: Rog (Randy) Roberson of Roseburg, OR, Ron (Mickie) Roberson of Sandpoint, ID, Lynett (Bruce) Ahner of Sandpoint, Letha Roberson of Round Mountain, NV; her special cousin: Linda (Brian) Berger; foreign exchange sister: Erica living in Brazil; her mother-in-law: Gloria (Paul) Cozart; and by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends. LeAnn was preceded in death by her father, Harry Roberson, in 2008. Though your smile is gone forever And your hand we cannot touch, We still have many memories of the one we loved so much. Your memory is our keepsake, with which we’ll never part. God has you in His keeping. We have you in our hearts.
