Alice Mae Ewing, 81, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho on
May 16, 2010.

Alice Mae Schultz was born in Wallace, Idaho on May 16, 1929, the daughter of Elmer and Mina Schultz. The family lived in Valley, Washington, moving to Bonners Ferry, Idaho in 1945. She graduated from the Bonners Ferry High School and married Darrell Ewing, in Moscow, Idaho on April 18, 1948.
Alice lived in Bonners Ferry until 1962 when she moved to Colburn, and then to Sandpoint in 1977. She had worked at the Norway Lodge, Western Auto in Sandpoint, and later for Ryder Truck Rental. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Aerie #589, Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, of 63 years, Darrell Ewing in Sandpoint, ID; 3 sons Paul Ewing in Rathdrum, Ken Ewing in Beaverton, OR; and Keith Ewing in Sandpoint, ID; 3 grandchildren Kristy, David, and Shila; 1 great grand daughter Kailey.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers Dale and Lloyd, and a sister Valdine.
