John Peter Domino, 67, passed away peacefully at home in Cocolalla, Idaho with his family by his side on Friday may 21, 2010 after a short battle with cancer.
John was born on Nov11, 1942 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. John is survived by his loving wife Suzanne; sons Kirk (Lesley) on Nanaimo, BC; Adam of St. Petersburg, FL; daughters Lara Strachan (Gary) of Victoria BC; and Jessica of Cheney, WA; four grandchildren Randall, Jarod, Jillian, and Kalum; mother Faye, sister Betty Aller (Mike); aunt Margie of Windsor, ON; and extended family. John is predeceased by his father John and mother-in-law Kay.
John was a transport driver for most of his life working all over North America. He and Suzanne enjoyed many adventures raising their children in different cities. His last job was at Litehouse Dressing in Sandpoint, Idaho, where he worked with wonderful people and made several good friends. He and Suzanne settled onto their farm enjoying semi-retirement. He always enjoyed working around the place with his grandchildren when they came to visit. The family wishes to thank all the health care professionals that supported John and Suzanne in the last few months.
At John’s request cremation is at Coffelt Funeral Service and an open house, to celebrate John’s life, will be held for family and friends, Sunday June 6, 2010 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM, at their home; 2606 Fishcreek Road, Cocolalla, Idaho.
