Michael "Mike" Bruce Casey

Michael “Mike” Bruce Casey 58, of Ponderay, died Monday, October 4, 2010 at Bonner General Hospital. Come join the family in remembrance and celebration of Mike Casey’s life. The celebration will be in the Tam from 5 PM until 9 PM, Saturday, October 9th. Mike was born in Fresno, California on August 21, 1952. He grew up in Sacramento, CA, where he graduated from high school in 1970. He moved to the Sandpoint area in 1977 and married Pam Pruitt on April 26, 1980. He had worked at Schweitzer, at the top of chair 4, for many years, also working in maintenance, and plowing snow. He also worked for Neil Tucker and Lippert Heavy Equipment. He enjoyed skiing, fishing and being out of doors with his family and friends. Mike is survived by his wife Pam Casey of Ponderay, ID; 2 children Tiffany and Kyle Casey, both in Hayden, ID; 2 brothers Steve Casey in Boise, ID; and Pat Casey in Centralia, WA; a nephew Seth Casey in Sandpoint, ID; and many friends including Daniel Vincent. He was preceded in death by his parents.
