Timothy Lee Mecham

Timothy L. “Tim” Mecham, 52, passed away in Sandpoint on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010. Private family services were conducted at the Sandpoint Church of the Nazarene. Private inurnment will take place in Pack River Cemetery. Tim was born April 13, 1958 in Sandpoint, Idaho the son of Lyle and Carolyn Mecham. He grew up and graduated from high school in Beach, ND in 1976. He later attended George Fox University in Newburg, OR. Tim worked as a purchasing agent for Powell Book Store in the Portland, Oregon area. In 2004 he returned to Sandpoint and worked at Wells Fargo and Larson’s Clothing. He was a voracious reader and thoroughly enjoyed books. He is survived by his parents: Lyle and Carolyn Mecham of Sandpoint; 1 sister: Cheryl (Dan) Otremba of Sandpoint; grandmother: Vivian Jacobson of Kootenai; and nephews Aron Otremba of Snohomish, WA and Paul Otremba of Nampa, ID. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Alvin Jacobson and Linda and Leslie Mecham.
