Alice "Jean" Brown

Alice "Jean" Brown, 80, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2007 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm, Monday, February 12, 2007 at the Lake Street Apartments Recreation Room, 1411 Lake Street, Sandpoint, Idaho. A private burial service was held at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Sandpoint, Id. Jean was born on November 16, 1926 in Wagon Mound, New Mexico the daughter of Guy and Cora (Davidson) Long. Her family moved to Eastern Oregon in the 1940’s where she lived until 1989, moving to Sandpoint, Idaho to be near her grandchildren. She owned and operated a small restaurant in Pilot Rock, Oregon for 14 years. Jean loved attending her grandchildren’s athletic and social activities. She is survived by her son Randy Brown of Spokane, Wa. and her daughter Carla Fister of Sandpoint, Id. She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren Alison Fister and Leonard Fister and her sister Marie Matson (Ernest) of Lake Havasu, Az.
