Agnes "Aggie Mae" Williams, age 89, passed away at Life Care in Sandpoint on October 12, 2017. Agnes was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Feb 19, 1928 to John Austin Dillon and Anna Mae (Goggins) Dillon. After graduating from high school, she moved to New Orleans, LA where she married Edwin J. Williams. Eventually, moving to Richardson, TX, and finally Sandpoint, ID. She was an apartment manager for many years. This job allowed her to work throughout the country. She loved to play any game -- especially, cards and dominoes. She was always ready to have fun with friends and strangers alike. She truly never met a stranger. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne (Phil) Belknap of Sandpoint, ID;, her son, James (Nora) Gaffney of Kimberly, Wisconsin; her sister, Rita (Bud) Klika of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; grandchildren: Austin Belknap, Kathryn (Zach) Knackstedt, Emily (Tyler) Rueth, Grace Gaffney, James Gaffney Jr.; great grandson Owen Rueth; many wonderful nieces, nephews and all their families. And, of course, all the friends across the country from Texas to Alaska to Idaho. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edwin J. Williams, her sisters, Margaret Mankovecky, Helen Scott, JoAnn Dillon and brother, Ralph Dillon. The family would also like to thank all those at Life Care who cared for Agnes. We appreciate all that you did for her and for us. Your kindness was truly appreciated. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand
