Arlene Naomi Cecila Marincic Lane, 83 of Sandpoint Idaho passed away peacefully at home on Thursday May 24, 2018, with her family by her side. She was born on December 16, 1935 in Greensburg Pennsylvania to the late Tony and Naomi Marincic. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Daniel Lane in 2007.
Arlene is survived by her husband Charles Theodore Lane, of 65 years. They were married in Azusa California on June 20, 1953. She is also survived by her daughter, Kathlene N. White and Joel A. Lane (Valerie J. Lane) as well as 9 grandchildren, Angie, Heather, Christopher, Tony, Anna, Lindsey (deceased 1990), Kyle, Sean and Trevor. Additionally, Arlenes’ life was also blessed with 8 great grandchildren. Arlene is also survived by her four brothers, Fred, Ronnie, David and Robert Marincic.
Arlenes’ passion for quilting, especially applique, included being a published author. Her love of quilting has especially touched many lives. She was an acclaimed quilting teacher and will be cherished forever. She was also a master gardener, culinary chef and played the piano. Arlene was also a Licensed Vocational Nurse in Southern California for ten years.
Funeral services will be held at Coffelt Funeral Home 109 North Division Sandpoint Idaho on Saturday June 2, 2018 at 1100 am. Flowers would be appreciated.
