Araminta Sliger Wigton, 81 of Post Falls, Idaho left us to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 22nd at The Schneidmiller Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Minute was born on Tuesday, June 23rd in her family home in Mentone, California. She was born to Burnadean Bentley Sliger and Truman Joseph Sliger. Minute spent her early childhood in California. By the time she was age 10, she and her family had moved to Snohomish, Washington. During her childhood, she enjoyed playing baseball and playing in the snow. After graduating high school, Minute attended and graduated from Puget Sound College of the Bible in Seattle, Washington. It was there that Minute met her husband, Charles David Wigton. Together they made up the entire graduating class of 1957. Chuck and Minute were married on Friday, August 23 1957; they were married for 60 years. They have been supportive partners and have shared their love with everyone who knew them. After college, they accepted an offer for Chuck to become the Senior Minister at First Christian Church in Sandpoint, Idaho. They continued to minister at the church, which is now known as North Summit Church, for 40 years. Minute spent her entire adult life serving other people through her volunteer work at various churches all over the Pacific Northwest—most recently at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls. Minute is survived by her husband, Chuck; their three children Art and his wife, Janet;, David and his wife Rose; and Lance and his wife Angie; as well as six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. There will be a Memorial Service held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Real Life Ministries, 1860 N Cecil Rd, Post Falls, ID 83854.
