Carol Ann Burnett

Carol Ann Burnett was born October 5, 1926 and a 92 years old passed away on November 23, 2018.

Carol was born in Florida, moved to California where she met and married Gene Monroe.  The had 4 children.  Later she married Bob Burnett from Manhattan Beach, California, he was a Dentist.

Carl was miss D Day during World War II.

She worked as a waitress, a hostess and later sold antiques, most of her adult life she sold real estate.

She lived in Hope and Cabo San Lucas for approximately 22 years, spitting her time between the 2 places.

She traveled extensively and was blessed to see most of the world.

Carol is proceeded in death by two husbands, Gene Monroe, Bob Burnett, 2 sisters, Joyce and Suzanne, her mother and father, Neil and Doris Purcell.

Carol is survived by her two brothers, Dave Purcell (Newport Beach, CA) and Neil Purcell (Cottonwood, CA), four children, Sue (Becky) Sharp (Las Vegas, NV) Richard (Jennie) Monroe (Priest River, ID) Kathy (Mark) Pogan ( Corona, CA) Steve (Denise) Monroe (Santa Rosa, CA)

Carol lived, loved and laughed, she had a very full life.  She will be missed by many.

There will be a memorial service later.  If anyone would like to honor her life and death  A donation to the Alzheimer’s and dementia organization for a cure would be greatly appreciated.
