Clyde David Wilburn, 93, passed away in Plains, Montana on Thursday, September 9, 2021.
Graveside services, with Military honors, will be held in the Heron Cemetery at 1:00pm, Montana time, on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Pastor Charley Denison will be officiating.
Clyde was born in Elmgrove, West Virginia on September 21, 1927, and attended local schools. He joined the US Marine Corp, serving during WW II in the Pacific Theatre. Following his military service he moved to Medina, Ohio and then to southern California, living in the Simi Valley area for many years. He had also lived, and worked, in Oregon and Nevada, moving to Thompson Falls, Montana in 2004. He worked as a carpenter and followed construction jobs.
He enjoyed boating and water skiing. He had also built his own boats and raced them in California.
Clyde is survived by his daughter Nance Deprez in Heron, Montana; grandchildren Theresa, Michael, Michelle, Melissa, John, Ryan, and Tyler, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son David and his brother.
