Donna Mae Billmire

Donna Mae Billmire passed away June 8 2018 in Loveland, Colorado.

She was born in Wellington, Colorado to John and Bertha Smith. She was the 4th of 6 children. She married Robert “Bob” Billmire September 7, 1941. Donna and Bob lived in the Loveland and Berthoud area were they raised two sons. In 1981 they retired to northern Montana. After Bob’s death she returned to Loveland to be with her Sons and many Grandchildren.

Donna was a farm girl at heart, she enjoyed gardening, canning and most of all cooking for her family. “Gran’s” sausage gravy was award winning and apparently unable to be duplicated, as no one can make it like she did.

She is survived by her son Lee Billmire of Loveland. 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Billmire Sr, son Robert “Bobby” Billmire Jr, Her Parents John and Bertha Smith.1 Brother and 5 sisters
